What to do with
Nappies (disposable)

Disposable nappies should be placed in your rubbish bin. Whilst it is possible to recycle disposable nappies it is not a service that is widely available to householders at the moment. This service is being worked on by the recycling industry and it may be a provision that is available more widely in the future.
What else can I do?
An alternative is to use cloth nappies (also known as 'real nappies'). This can help protect the environment and can save you money in the long run. Many councils offer incentive schemes to encourage people to use cloth nappies instead of disposables. Contact your local council to see what’s happening in your area.
